Dog Friendly Holidays

Dig on long sandy beaches, cool off in rockpools and ramble along miles of coastpath. Welcome to doggie paradise.

Don't pop your pooch in kennels, bring him along and discover Cornwall together. Stretch out and relax in a luxurious dog friendly lodge, step out your door and into 100 acres of peaceful countryside with plenty of lakeside and woodland walks and let off steam along nearby beaches. While your hound is happily snoozing in front of the log burner, bubble away the morning in your private hot tub before you all head to a nearby pub for a lazy lunch. We've put together a little guide full of insider tips for the best local dog friendly beaches, pubs and coastal walks so you can all explore and enjoy.

Of course there are some places pooches can't go, but we've got that covered. If you fancy a family day out to Eden or an evening at one of Rick Stein's restaurants, then our handy team of dogsitters are here to look after your four legged friend in your lodge. They are all experienced dog owners and pet sitters and they'll keep your dog entertained, walked and happy until you come home. To book please email

A few doggy house rules…

Dogs cost £40 per stay unless you have booked one of our dog friendly packages and then they stay for free.
Let us know when you book if a dog will be coming with you, or give us a call before you arrive.
They must be kept on the lead on the resort and cleaned up after.
Please bring your own dog bedding and covers.
Please don’t leave dogs alone in lodges for long periods of time, or if you are away from Retallack.
There are a few breeds which we can’t allow on the Resort (American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasileiro and Doga Argentino even where these types of dog are muzzled as required by law).
Dogs (with the exception of assistance dogs) are not allowed in the leisure building but they are allowed on the outside decking area around the FlowRider.

"The walks around the resort are lovely, especially down by the lake and beach and our two dogs loved it."
